I've been working with networks and data analysis professionally since 1999, starting as a Security Analyst and moving into network engineering and architecture roles over the years. Currently, I'm a Solutions Architect at RUCKUS Networks, specializing in multi-family, student housing, and senior living. I have worked in nearly all verticals in my career, from enterprise and SMB to LPV. My experience runs the gamut from 6 employee offices to 80,000 seat professional sports stadiums.
I live on a farm in rural Kentucky. I spent 20 years in Lexington, KY before moving back to my family's farm in 2019. The space gives me a place to enjoy my dogs and experiment with macro antenna designs, for which I have a passion.
My work is also my passion, but some would say I have a hobby problem. Indoor and outdoor gardening, beekeeping, antenna building, amateur radio, dog training, video gaming and 3D printing occupy most of my time outside of work.
